I have spent majority of my weekend working. Yesterday, I met Miki at Verve to design the new Clark Street Bread menu. It took us a few hours, some cups of coffee and some strong will to finish it. It exciting to finally see it taking place and happening. My friends have been working so hard with their company and being a part of their success is amazing. A lot of work ahead of me this month so I will try and stay as active as I can. I hope you all have had an amazing weekend.
Most of the clothes I’m wearing is from Forever 21, they have been killing it lately and I am so surprised to see how trendy they are. Also, not to mention the crazy sales they have. I got these pants for only $8, sadly they are already gone even if it was just a week ago that I ordered them. The shoes I also got on sale but at ZARA in the beginning of 2016. Who would have known I’m such a trend forecaster. To shop my look I have linked the same, or similar items at the bottom of the post.
Hey guys! Even though the official first day of fall has passed, it is still over 90 degrees here in Los Angeles. I am getting really tired of the heat! I want to layer and wear coats. But, for now, I am still wearing dresses and summer clothes. How cute is this dress that was sent to me from MakeMeChic? This weekend has been super busy with a lot of work. I also started working out and going to the gym again and feel really good about it. Basically I am getting my life balanced and in order again. I am super excited about the upcoming week and have a ton of fun stuff going on!
I hope you all had an amazing weekend and look forward to a new week!

Since the new WordPress update I’ve had som technical difficulties on the blog which have been the reason to why I haven’t posted anything. It has been bugging me off like crazy because the images wouldn’t show up wider than 808px leaving white space on the sides and a full width text. I spent hours in support with both Bluehost and WordPress, none of them could find anything that was wrong as well as a conversation with a special theme design team for several DAYS that has honestly been nothing then worthless because I found the problem myself finally! One of the plugins that I had interfered somehow with the new update making the photos smaller than they actually are. But now its finally fixed and I can go on with my life, lol. And yes, I got a new design as well! What do you guys think?
I just absolutely love this new romper I got sent from Makemechic and it is only $19. Off the shoulder tops are everything right now but being able to combine that with a romper is just my dream summer outfit right now. Ive been going back to using my two favorite items in the closet, my AW bag (its currently on sale HERE you guys) and my Prada glasses I got a few years ago. The cute little bag puff I got at MONKI while I was in sweden.
I think that the search for the perfect denim jacket never ends. But, I did find one that I absolutely love at TopShop and it has been my holy grail and my got to jacket for the past weeks. You can get this jacket here. (The dress is also from TopShop)
To be honest the blog has fallen back – much because I am working so, so much. The difference of being in school full time and working full time is so big. Especially coming from a Community college into the adult world of work. I am still managing and trying to find a balance to do both because THIS is what I love to do. And no matter how much fun or how great I feel about waking up everyday and going to work it is definitely taking a toll on me. But still, I feel like my blog is growing more and more even if I spend less time on it. Isn’t that funny?
Unfortunately the gloomy days of LA has started way earlier then we are used to. And even though I wished I had been at the beach in this outfit it is definitely way too cold right now without the sun shining to be there. But, that doesn’t mean that we cant slay a bikini outfit anyways. Together with TopShop I am styling this edgy sporty beach look by highlighting all the details and accessories that makes summer looks fun. This is more of a quirky fun summer look and definitely not something I would go with as an everyday look. But if you want to be ready for the beach and the sun this is a perfect look for hanging around the beach walk or pool area if you’re not actually soaking the sun.
First of all I picked up the perfect shades. They are fun and will make any outfit pop out by themselves, or they can be paired with a ton of different fun things just like in this look and still look marvelous. I did pick out a very colorful aztecs patterned bikini top and bottom but choose to wear a net crop top over it to neutralize the look and make it more sporty. Throw over a jean jacket if its windy and pair it with some jeans shorts and you’re good to go.
Finishing off I chose a long silver double necklace which went well with the white neutral top. And some fun colorful beaded bracelets to add to the pop of colors. There are no rules when it comes to accessorizing and mixing makes it even more fun. I have silver and gold, a ton of colors and patterns and even different textures and it works out quite well together.
